Lake Tahoe Loop with EBC (America's most beautiful bike ride!!)

Where: Staying at Base Camp Hotel Arriving on Friday June 21th and departing on June 23rd.

  • Speed: 17-20 mph on the flats and rollers

  • Distance: 75 miles and 4600 feet of elevation

  • Route 1 A Group: Tahoe Loop (Strava Route)

  • Difficulty: Advance ride (5 minute wait on top of hills max)

  • Starting Time: Rolling out at 8:00am from the Hard Rock Hotel

  • Route 2 B Group: Meeks Bay up and back (Strava Route)

  • Speed: 12-17 mph on the flats and rollers

  • Distance: 42 Miles and 2770 feet of elevation

  • Difficulty: Intermediate ride (no drop ride)

  • Starting Time: Rolling out at 8:00am from Basecamp Hotel

  • we will arrive on Friday afternoon to get acclimated to the altitude. I would not recommend doing this ride without getting acclimated to the altitude or you will find yourself running out of breath and bonking. We will be stopping at Emerald Bay ,Tahoe City, Incline Village and at the top of Spooner summit. We will have lunch in Tahoe City. Saturday Night we gather once again to have dinner and grab some adult refreshments.

  • Difficulty: Intermediate ride

  • Starting Time: At precisely 8:00 am we will all roll out together, everyone at once into the 10th annual pilgrimage of Levi’s GranFondo. This mass start is part of the magic of Levi’s GranFondo. We do it the same way every year, together in unison, we flow out into Sonoma County to take it all in. (5 thousand riders line up its awesome!!)

Let’s watch the Pro’s Race up Mines road. We will ride up Mines road and wait for them at the junction Bar and Grill and have a beer and lunch. This is the day to call in sick and not go to work.

Where: Meeting @ 9:15 AM for a 9:30 AM rollout. Meeting at Robert Livermore Park in the parking lot.

  • Distance: 60 miles

  • Route: Mines Road (Strava Route)

  • we will have lunch and a nice cold one at “The Junction Bar and Grill” and see the pro’s go by.
